SIXTEENTH ANNUAL NAPA VALLEY MUSTARD FESTIVAL OFF TO AN INSPIRED START (2009)
Napa Valley, CA
~ Mustard Magic officially launched The 16th Annual Napa Valley Mustard
Festival on January 31 with an evening of food, wine, and art at The
Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, California.
Glamorous actors in opulent art nouveau attire embellished the upbeat,
artistic affair. Tableau Vivants including Magique de la
Moutarde, the season's artwork by Melissa Baker, came to
life, setting the stage for a Sensational Season of Events.
The Festival provides "good news and vibrant activity"
during this time of year known sixteen years ago as Napa Valley's "slow
season." The line up of stellar events takes place when wild mustard
blooms in the vineyards, offering visitors from far and wide immersion
in the legendary wine region's "good life." Events offer something for
nearly everyone, from no cost and reasonably priced daytime events, to
the seven course Le Grand Diner.
The Season is especially important this year,
according to Festival Producer, Pat Summers, President of Summers-McCann
Public Relations. "The Season of Events is a ray of sunshine
during this time of gloomy economic news..."
